Jubilat is moving forward with the development of a shopping centre in Chełm, prepared on the basis of a concept designed by Pejot Studio. At the end of October, the company submitted an application for a building permit for the facility, which will be built on the site of the former Tesco hypermarket at 24 Lwowska Street (Lublin Voivodeship). The retail complex will reach a volume of over 78,000 m³, confirming the scale of the project that we reported on in March this year, according to PREM Inwestycje monitoring. The design was prepared by Pejot Studio on behalf of the investor, whose identity was initially undisclosed. It is known only that the property previously owned by Salling Group – together with the unused building – was purchased by a company from Lubartów. According to our findings, the land at 24 Lwowska Street was managed by Box Center, a Lubartów-based company linked to Jubilat. The project team also includes, among others, Kryjan Structural Engineering (Krzysztof Kryjan), Whitemoose (Maciej Saczuk) and Eltrim Projekt (Michał Moryc).
