22Architekci will design a residential complex with 560 apartments in Szczecin

Szczecin Social Housing Association, in cooperation with the Szczecin branch of the Association of Polish Architects, has resolved the competition for the architectural concept of a residential development planned between Sąsiedzka, Ukośna and Wschodnia streets in Szczecin. The proposal submitted by 22Architekci was ranked the highest. The project involves the development of an area of over 10 hectares, where residential buildings with approximately 560 apartments are planned. The estimated budget for the investment amounts to PLN 276 million gross, while PLN 8 million has been allocated for design documentation. The second prize was awarded to Marcin Jojko Architekci, and the third to Jerzy Biel Studio. The jury also granted three equal distinctions to WXCA, BAS and Baumschlager Eberle Architekci Polska. ■
