7R, in cooperation with Mirbud, is developing a 51,000 m² logistics centre

7R is developing the 7R Park Gdańsk V logistics centre for Pepco Poland in Barniewice near Gdańsk. Under a long-term lease agreement, the discount retailer has leased more than 51,000 m² of warehouse space, including office and staff facilities. The project is located 2.5 km from the S6 expressway and 18 km from the DCT container terminal in Gdańsk. "The new distribution centre near Gdańsk will strengthen our logistics capabilities in a strategically important part of Europe," comments Javier Rubio Fueyo, Pepco Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Director. The project will include, among other features, a photovoltaic installation, LED lighting with a DALI control system, electric vehicle charging stations and a dedicated car park for employees. The building is planned to obtain BREEAM Excellent certification. Mirbud is the general contractor for the investment.
