Harden Construction is developing a logistics centre for Raben Real Estate in Sosnowiec

Harden Construction has started construction of a logistics centre for Raben Real Estate, a company belonging to the Raben Group, in Sosnowiec. The cross-dock facility is being developed next to the S1 expressway, in the area of Inwestycyjna Street. Completion of the works is scheduled for Q1 2027. The project involves the construction of a hall with a total footprint of nearly 12,700 m². The warehouse area will occupy 11,300 m², while the office and social facilities will cover 1,600 m². This is Harden Construction's second project carried out in cooperation with the Raben Group. The previous facility, with an area of 43,400 m², was completed in Poznań in 2024. The scope of the project also includes the expansion of the local road system, including the construction of a new junction with Inwestycyjna Street. The internal infrastructure has been designed for intensive transport traffic and will include more than 35,000 m² of paved areas made of asphalt and cement concrete. The centre will include 137 parking spaces, a bicycle shelter and 103 loading docks. Ground conditions are an important technical aspect of the project. The investment is being developed on the site of a former mining spoil heap. "To ensure the stability of the structure and the required load-bearing parameters, together with the investor we decided to found the facility on ground reinforced with concrete displacement columns and to carry out partial soil replacement," explains Paweł Fiuczek, Managing Director of Harden Construction. The project is being carried out in line with EU taxonomy guidelines and sustainable construction standards. The facility will be equipped with a photovoltaic installation, while the site development plan provides for nearly 11,000 m² of biologically active area.
