Łęgprzem to build a sports hall in Kraków for PLN 19.57 million

The Sports Infrastructure Authority in Kraków has selected the offer submitted by construction company Łęgprzem, worth PLN 19.57 million gross, in the tender for the construction of a sports hall at 31 Monte Cassino Street in Kraków.
Five bids were submitted in the procedure, three of which were rejected. The second valid offer was submitted by Texom at PLN 20.85 million. The rejected bids were submitted by Kartel at PLN 24.6 million, RE-Bau at PLN 18.9 million, and Grupa Grand at PLN 21 million.
The contracting authority allocated PLN 20 million gross for the investment. The sports hall will be built next to the School Complex of Communications. The project will include, among other facilities, a 20 × 40 m playing court, stands for more than 130 spectators, four changing rooms, as well as coaching, storage and technical facilities.
The completion period is 21 months.
In June 2018, we reported that the tender for the preparation of the facility's design was won by Metropolis architectural studio, with a gross bid of PLN 725,000.
