The City of Warsaw has signed a contract with Mirbud for the construction of a sports and entertainment arena at Wawelska Street, as part of the second phase of the modernization of the Nowa Skra complex. The contract value exceeds PLN 237 million, with construction works scheduled to commence in April 2026. The facility will comprise two above-ground storeys and two underground levels, with a usable floor area of approximately 9,800 m² and a total volume of 88,000 m³. The arena will accommodate up to 6,000 spectators and will be equipped with full technical infrastructure, including locker rooms, sanitary facilities, and event service areas. The construction period has been set at approximately 810 days. The project forms part of a multi-stage redevelopment of the Nowa Skra complex, under which an area of approximately 11 hectares has already been revitalized, including the development of a training stadium, athletics infrastructure, and landscaped green areas.
