TEXOM to build multifunctional complex in Rumia for nearly PLN 86 million

Rumia City Hall (Pomorskie Province) has signed a contract with TEXOM worth PLN 85.91 million gross for "Project Centre – construction of a multifunctional building and development of the surrounding area". The general contractor will prepare the design documentation and then carry out the construction works. The complex, with a usable area of 13,600 m², will accommodate a new city hall, office and commercial space, a restaurant, a 200-seat auditorium and an underground car park for approximately 200 vehicles. The contract is to be completed within 36 months. It was signed by Krystian Woś, President of the Management Board of TEXOM, and Michał Pasieczny, Mayor of Rumia. Tomasz Bańka, a member of TEXOM's Management Board, and Jarosław Świgoń, Director of the company's Gdańsk branch, also attended the signing. In May this year, PREM reported that TEXOM had submitted the lowest bid in the tender. The other bids were submitted by P&P (PLN 92.47 million gross), the consortium of Polimex Infrastruktura and Polimex Mostostal (PLN 96.83 million gross), the consortium of NDI and NDI Sopot (PLN 110.11 million gross), FineTech Construction (PLN 111.85 million gross), Grupa KDM (PLN 114.66 million gross), Grupa FG (PLN 123.88 million gross), Doraco (PLN 127.92 million gross), Adamietz Warszawa (PLN 137.09 million gross), PORR (PLN 139.97 million gross), New Construction Concept (PLN 140.62 million gross), Budimex (PLN 146.84 million gross) and Warbud (PLN 154.97 million gross).
