Vastint is preparing the redevelopment of the site formerly occupied by Arkady Wrocławskie at 2–4 Powstańców Śląskich Street in Wrocław. The facility, opened in 2007, will be completely demolished by mid-2027 after 20 years of operation. The design of the new development is being prepared by APA Wojciechowski Architekci. The investment will cover a plot of over 1.7 hectares and involves the creation of a mixed-use inner-city quarter. The former shopping center site will be transformed into a complex of buildings with varied heights, featuring retail and service units on the ground floors, with offices and residential units on the upper levels. Vehicular traffic will be limited to an underground parking facility. Demolition works are being carried out by Grupa TREE. To date, façade elements and interior fittings have been dismantled. The next phase includes the gradual removal of reinforced concrete and steel structures. The works are being conducted using specialized equipment, with a team of approximately 50 people. "We believe in the potential of this central location, which is why we have decided to invest in its new chapter. We are at an early design stage, analyzing various development scenarios, and the project timeline will depend on arrangements with the city authorities," comments Rafał Kociatkiewicz, project manager at Vastint Poland.
