
Strabag (PLN 415.2 million, against a budget of PLN 250.5 million gross), Mirbud (PLN 463.7 million), Dekpol Budownictwo (PLN 524.5 million) and Warbud (PLN 536.5 million) have submitted bids in a tender conducted by the Katowice City Hall for the implementation of the second stage of the New Technologies District – Katowice Gaming and Technology Hub. As part of the investment on the site of the former "Wieczorek" mine at ul. Szopienicka, based on documentation prepared by AMC Chołdzyński, eight existing post-industrial buildings with a total usable area of 19,000 m² will be modernised and adapted. They will house offices, a data centre, and exhibition and conference premises with a food-service section. The contract is to be completed within 24 months (2 years). We previously reported in PREM that Strabag had secured the contract worth PLN 577 million gross for the implementation of the first stage of the project.
